Landscape Pests and Problems Walkabout - Insects, Weeds and Cultural Problems

Get some hands-on experience scouting and identifying landscape insects, weeds, and abiotic problems. Join Randy Prostak, Extension Weed Specialist; Tawny Simisky, Extension Entomologist; and Geoffrey Njue, Extension Sustainable Landscapes Specialist, for a walk through the landscape as they discuss and demonstrate how to put IPM practices to work efficiently and examine some of the most common pest and cultural problems of woody ornamentals. Dress for walking; workshop held rain or shine. Bring a clipboard, pencil and hand lens if possible.

Registration

Preregistration required as space is limited; the cost is $50/$45 per person for three or more registrations from the same company (10% discount). Online registrations include an additional service fee.

Credits

Two pesticide contact hours for Massachusetts categories 36 and Applicators License, valid for equivalent categories in all New England states.

Assocation credits: 2 ISA, .5 MCA, 1 MCH, and .5 MCLP available.
