Matt BarronKaren HeymannBoard Gains Two New Members

The UMass Extension Board of Public Overseers has gained two new members in the last few months. Matt Barron of Chesterfield represents the Massachusetts Forestry Alliance and has been appointed to the slot designated for the Massachusetts Forestry Association. Matt is a national political consultant who served as an aide to former Congressman John Olver. Karen Heymann represents Mass Audubon. She holds a Masters in soil science from UMass Amherst and a doctorate from Cornell. She currently serves as legislative director for Mass Audubon.
