Come hear Dr. Elsa Petit discuss her ongoing work on best practices for managing trunk diseases (esp. Eutypa) in V. vinifera and hybrid wine grape varieties and Dr. Jaime Piñero discuss his work on managing invasive insect pests (SWD, BMSB and Spotted Lanternfly),  in commercial fruit production systems.  Drs. Piñero and Petit are new faculty at UMass who are doing important and relevant work for the vituculture industry.  Come meet them, hear what they are working on and let them know what issues are important to the success of your vineyard.
