The Center for Agriculture addresses environmental stewardship from several complementary perspectives:

  • protection of ecosystem integrity, water resources and biodiversity;
  • environmental protection interwoven with best agricultural and ornamental horticulture practices;
  • research and educational programs in public policy;
  • development and implementation of tools and policies for environmental protection and land use.
