4-H is commemorating the Apollo moon landing with aerospace programs around the state.  Summer STEM Ambassadors are working with youth ages 6-12 teaching them about flight, stability and physics by constructing all things that fly including helicopters, gliders and stomp rockets.  Families are being challenged to build a rocket out of a soda bottle and join 4-H for a launch party at one of these locations:

  • July 27th, 1:00 pm,  at the Hampden County 4-H Fair, Mallory Building at the Big E Fairgrounds in W. Springfield
