Youth of the Year Competition

The 4-H Horse Project Youth of the Year Contest is meant to encourage 4-H youth involved in the horse project to participate in many areas of 4-H including horsemanship, horse knowledge, leadership development and giving back to the community and to recognize them for their achievements.  Any senior 4-H member (ages 14-18) is eligible to participate.  Points are accrued throughout the 4-H year and registration for the program is due in April.  See the Guidelines and Rules below for details.
