Rutgers University is collaborating with UMass Amherst and The University of Rhode Island to teach a 2 full-day course for those wanting to know exactly what is involved getting into the Food Business! This course introduces Food Safety and important considerations when developing a new food product. This virtual, live, and interactive course will address the key attributes of formulating a product from concept to commercialization. Some topics include Labeling requirements, Preventative Controls, Hazard Analysis, and Food Safety and regulations. The course will also discuss how you and your business should be covering yourself during the current COVID-19 pandemic.
