Aphid - Potato

Potato Aphid
Potato Aphid

The Potato Aphid is pink or green, the latter with a darker stripe down the back. The cornicles are large with black ends. Many ornamentals are susceptible to this aphid. This is a larger species of aphid when considering using biological control. The small parasitic wasp, Aphelinus abdominalis may be used against larger aphid species such as the foxglove and potato aphid.
