Train-the-Trainer Session: Successful Food Product Development for New Food Businesses - Managing Food Quality & Safety

Program Description: This session is a real-time, virtual train-the-trainer (TTT) course designed to prepare instructors to deliver the “Successful Food Product Development for New Food Businesses: Managing Food Quality & Safety” which is a program targeted to small and emerging food businesses to help increase market opportunities for locally produced food products by providing food safety training relevant to food product development.
As a participant of this TTT course, each participant must complete the online portion of the course so that our efforts are focused on the overall program instruction. Throughout the TTT session, we will provide a brief program summary of each module, describe the learning objectives, discuss the engagement activities, and share all the program tools.
Target Audience: The intended audience for this course are those that provide technical and/or educational support to new and emerging small food businesses. Participants should have a basic understanding of food safety, business development and commercialization.
