Dr. Jodi Johnson-Maynard: Earthworms and their role in soil health in annual cropping systems

Dr. Jodi Johnson-Maynard a Professor and Department Head in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences at the University of Idaho speaks about Earthworms and their role in soil health in annual cropping systems.

The Soil Health Winter Training Event: Critters & Carbon, is a part of Soil Health education program at UMass, supported by funding from Northeast SARE. The first half of this event takes another look at earthworms to ask the question - do earthworms always mean good news for your soil health (Dobson and Johnson-Maynard). The second half of the event takes a look at the carbon credit market for those sequestering carbon (Chay), and ends with a look at how California deployed and manages its statewide soil health initiative (Gunasekara).
