Save the date for a field day at the South Deerfield Research Farm on June 21, presented by UMass Extension and the Stockbridge School of Agriculture! Soil health demonstrations will be presented, including:

  • New York Soil Health Trailer demonstration
  • No-till transplanting vegetables into a crimped cover crop
  • Cover crop residue management
  • Using tarps to terminate cover crops
