2021 UMass Strategic Research Alliance Showcase

Join us at the 2021 UMass Food Science Strategic Research Alliance Showcase! UMass Food Science has a long history of being one of the nation’s top-ranked research and teaching organizations (Shanghai Ranking Consultancy 2020) and this meeting will share the latest research. The mission of the SRA is to provide food innovation and research advancements that better support the food industry. Since 1995, the core goals of the Strategic Research Alliance (SRA) are to:
- Deliver latest cutting-edge research to industrial members
- Develop strong relationships with the faculty leading to sponsored research
- Promote relationships with help to connect industry to future talent from our students
- Provide a forum to discuss common challenges within the industry.
This year’s SRA will be a virtual experience using two meeting formats (Zoom and Gathertown). We will share the latest research within the Department of Food Science through a series of real-time technical presentations via Zoom. Additionally, we will host technical poster presentations and networking session through Gathertown.

Participation in this year’s 2021 SRA Research Alliance Showcase is free to all members of the food science community, however, registration is required for each attendee. The Registration link is HERE. Each organization can send as many participants as interested.
Please note, the traditional one-on-one technical sessions with faculty are made available only for paid SRA members and will take place during Fall 2022. For more information about membership dues and the additional benefits of being an SRA member can be found HERE.
