UMass Food Science is Awarded NIFA Fellowship for Produce Safety

UMass recently was awarded a USDA NIFA grant titled, "Improving Produce Safety through Graduate Education to Integrate Research and Industrial Practice". The program will support graduate fellowships over the course of the next fiver years with a specific focus on research relevant to produce safety. This program will integrate research and extension experiences for a very enriched learning experience for the fellows while helping to build the needs to address the critical issues for improved food safety.
