Invasive Insects of Trees & Shrubs in Massachusetts: 2020 Updates

This presentation will provide a brief overview of current updates on the status of many invasive insect pests of trees and shrubs in Massachusetts. Species discussed will include gypsy moth, winter moth, emerald ash borer, Asian longhorned beetle, and a quick mention of the spotted lanternfly. Management information will be mentioned, with an emphasis on natural enemies and biological control.

Pesticide Credit
Each webinar in this series offers 1 pesticide contact hour for categories 29, 35, 36 and applicators (core) license. Licensed applicators may ONLY receive credit if the following criteria are met:
- Each pesticide license holder must attend the webinar LIVE and register for and attend the webinar with their own individual e-mail address.
NOTE: With the permission of each speaker, webinars will be recorded and archived. Recorded/archived webinars will not be available for pesticide credit. Pesticide license holders must attend the live webinar and successfully complete the quiz at the end for credit. - Pesticide license holders must provide their name and pesticide license number, mailing address, and company name at the time of registration.
- Each pesticide license holder must take a 5 question (multiple choice or true/false) quiz immediately at the end of each webinar and receive a score of 80% or better on the quiz*. Questions will be on content discussed in the webinar.
*The Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires you to spend a minimum of 50 minutes on each webinar in order to receive one (1) contact hour or (1) pesticide credit. You must pass a post-test with at least 80% correct. Questions about this requirement?
