About the UMass Extension Fruit Program

The UMass Extension Fruit Program's mission is to assist fruit growers with all aspects of commercial orchard, vineyard, and berry production. It is a cooperative program of research and extension in the College of Natural Sciences, Center for Agriculture Food and the Environment (CAFE), and the Stockbridge School of Agriculture at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Nine faculty and staff people cooperate to form the UMass Fruit Program, a part of UMass Extension.

This site includes all of our written publications, including Healthy Fruit, Berry Notes, Fruit Notes, New England Apple Pest Management Guide, New England Small Fruit Pest Management Guide, and all factsheets.
