Bran mite (food mite for the predatory mite Neoseiulus cucumeris)
The predatory mite Neoseiulus cucumeris is sold with a carrier that contain bran mites (photo) as a food source for the N. cucumeris. The bran mites tend to be white, covered with fine hairs and move more slowly than N. cucumeris.
