Chlorine Bleach Injury on Poinsettia

Chlorine bleach is often used as a sanitizer in greenhouses and can be phytotoxic to some plants. Note the black marks along the stem and petiole of this poinsettia plant. In this case bleach injury was caused by vapors from treated capillary mats.
