Thrips – Western flower thrips injury on pepper

Thrips are small insects that tend to feed in plant buds and flowers, so damage can occur before they are detected. Use yellow stick cards to detect adults. Inspect foliage for characteristic white scarring and distortion as seen here. Tap foliage over a sheet of white pater to look for adults and larvae.
