Tulip - Virus

Infection of Tulips by viruses can result in symptoms such as flecking, mosaic, mottle, growth malformations, stunting, ringspots, streaking, and reduced vigor. Virus infection can also result in flower symptoms like streaking that are highly prized. There is no treatment or cure for plant viruses. Discard infected plants and control their vectors. Plant viruses are transmitted by many species of aphids, leafhoppers, thrips, and parasitic plants. Eliminate weeds that may serve as a reservoir for viruses.
