Hello! I am an undergraduate at UMass Amherst studying Sustainable Food and Farming and Nutrition. I grew up in Granby, MA, gardening and cooking with my family. I am passionate about bridging the gap between farmers and consumers through agricultural communication-I believe that we need more hype for and access to our amazing local food systems. I have worked as a grocery store sample lady, a fruit farmer, and, most recently, as the REEU program coordinator. Over course of the program, I focused on exposing our interns to every facet of UMass Agricultural Extension, because I believe that Extension is one of the best programs at a university. It combines a thirst for knowledge with clear communication and practical applications- what could be better?
