Vegetable IPM Project

The Vegetable Team specialize in a wide range of topic areas, related to IPM, including: crop production, insect, weed and disease management, including organic approaches, soil and nutrient management, cover crops, plant breeding, community food systems, and herbs. They conduct research and on-farm projects and educational programs, and are available to commercial vegetable growers for consultation.

Members of the UMass Extension Vegetable Program with IPM-related expertise include: S. Scheufele, G. Higgins, H. Whitehead, L. McKeag, M. Hashemi, S. Herbert, R. Wick.
