The Cracker Barrel Fair is a well-loved tradition that occurs annually at the Wrentham Developmental Center Fairgrounds in Wrentham, MA. After a two-year hiatus, the Fair is returning this September 17-18, and Norfolk County 4-Hers will once again be participating by hosting events that are open to all 4-H members and some that are open to the public. So grab a friend and come join in the fun! (4-H Dog Show, Pet Parade, Rabbit Exhibition and Flower Arranging events!)
We are also hosting a 4-H photo contest and time is short. The deadline for submissions is Thursday, 9/15, if dropped off at the Auburn 4-H Office, or Friday, 9/16, if dropped off at the fairgrounds.
While we understand that Norfolk County is a bit of drive for some, we wanted all MA 4-H members and their families to feel welcome to come out for a fun day and to say hello! Local 4-H Clubs will be hosting activities and contests throughout the event. Great time to stop in and see and learn about 4-H. Did you know 4-H'ers can now be Cloverbuds at age 5 so you don't have to wait until age 8 to join? More than just agriculture, 4-H'ers are doing STEM and so much more. More details to come!
