UMass 4-H STEM Ambassador Intern Positions Summer 2023 UMass 4-H STEM Ambassadors are trained to provide direct teaching of STEM curriculum to young people throughout Massachusetts. UMass Extension 4-H Educators train STEM Ambassadors with the lessons Ambassadors will teach. All materials will be provided.
Locations: Program delivery and target audience is unique to each site.
• UMass Amherst Mt Ida Campus, Newton MA – youth 7-12 on computation thinking/computer science unplugged activities.
• Plymouth County Extension Office, Plymouth, MA – youth12-18 on Agriculture and Animal Science and Career Exploration utilizing the greenhouse and gardens. Additionally, hosting school and summer camp programs.
• Springfield/Holyoke Community Partners - youth 7-12 on computational thinking/computer science unplugged activities.
