The 10th annual Explore UMass conference for 4-H members ages 12-16 took place at UMass Amherst, June 24-26. The conference theme was "Animals and Apps". Participants took part in a two day process to develop an app and presented their apps to a panel of judges. The app workshop was sponsored and presented by Tata Consultancy Services Limited. In addition, participants got to tour the UMass Hadley Farm with a BBQ dinner and ice cream social. The conference was also sponsored by the MA 4-H Foundation and Tractor Supply through the Paper Clover Program.
