The annual MA 4-H Food Drive is the only statewide community service project conducted by MA 4-H and every 4-H club in the Commonwealth is asked to participate. 4-H members, parents and volunteers will collect food and cash donations in their local communities and donate the cash and food items to the food pantry of their choice. Last year MA 4-H collected nearly 44,000 pounds of food and $3733 in cash and donated to 105 pantries and shelters across the state. Any member of the general public that wants to contribute to the food drive should contact their local 4-H office. The Food Drive is conducted through the months of October and November.
