Maker and 4-H

"Learn by Doing" in a nutshell is how 4-H works. New Creature Design - Make-it Springfield

In 4-H youth learn life skills through work in projects they are interested in from sewing and electricity to raising swine and making robots.  In many ways 4-H'ers have been makers for over 100 years so connecting to Maker Spaces and partnering is a natural fit.

Journal of Extension 4-H and the Maker Movement

4-H is a partner in the Make-It Springfield Maker Space.
