Harvest of the Month
The Massachusetts Farm to School Harvest of the Month program provides a terrific opportunity to celebrate local produce, experiment with new foods and try new recipes within your school. The program’s goal is to encourage healthy food choices by increasing students’ exposure to seasonal foods while supporting local farmers and building excitement about school meals. The UMass Extension Nutrition Education Program (NEP) helps support Harvest of the Month all year round.
